Jollibee, one of the top fast-food chains in the Philippines, proved their commitment for a sustainable future with the opening of its new store in Tuguegarao, Cagayan in early November.


Jon Villanueva, Vice President for Restaurant Systems of Jollibee Philippines, expressed their excitement about continuing to bring more joy and welcome their customers to their new store in Tuguegarao. While remaining committed to serve the best-tasting food, they also recognize their responsibility to build a more sustainable future, one joyful meal at a time.


The newly opened branch in Enrile Boulevard embraces the green technologies aiming to reduce overall waste and utilizing renewable sources.

One of the key sustainable features to their store branch is the installation of solar panels, provided by AlphaSolar – a leader in renewable energy solution, which plays a vital role in reducing their energy consumption. By generating renewable energy from the sun, the store is able to cut their electricity usage by as much as 30%. Moreover, it minimizes the branch's carbon footprint, aligning with Jollibee's broader environmental goals.
